SmartAX MA5600T, MA5603T, MA5608Ts are Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) integrated optical access products.

This series features the industry’s first aggregation Optical Line Terminal (OLT), integrating ultra-high aggregation and switching capabilities, supporting 3.2T backplane capacity, 960G switching capacity, 512K MAC addresses, and a maximum of 44-channel 10 GE access or 768 GE ports.

Lowers Operations and Maintenance (O&M) costs with software versions for all three models that are fully compatible with service boards, and reduces quantities of stock required for spare parts.

The MA5600T/MA5603T/MA5608T, functioning as an integrated optical-copper access equipment, provides the integrated broadband and narrowband access and FTTx optical access services that feature high rate, high bandwidth, and high quality. It can function as an OLT, MSAN, or IP DSLAM. The MA5600Tis a large-capacity device, the MA5603T is a medium-capacity device and the MA5608T is a small-capacity device.

Supports the 10G GPON and GPON access service. All the three can function as an optical line terminal (OLT) in the GPON system, working with the optical network terminal (ONT) or other optical network units (ONUs).
Supports the point-to-point (P2P) FE/GE optical access. The P2P board is mainly used for cascading, and it can also provide users with P2P FTTH access by cooperating with ONTs.
Provides the voice service solution based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and H.248, supports the POTS port to implement the voice service, fax service, narrowband modem service, and various supplementary services.
Provides the E1/N*64k private line service through the TDM SHDSL board. And H802EDTB board supports the TDM SHDSL feature.
Supports broadband access services such as ADSL2+, VDSL2, and SHDSL, enhancing the xDSL function.

The MA5608T is an integrated fiber-copper access device, and can serve as a mini-OLT or mini-DSLAM.

The MA5608T, if serving as a mini-OLT, supports GPON and 10G GPON access modes. It can be installed at a residential district or a street side, which reduces the usage of ODN backbone optical cables, lowers the ODN deployment cost and difficulty, and minimizes the CO equipment room space.
The MA5608T, if serving as a mini-DSLAM, supports ADSL2+, VDSL2, SHDSL, and POTS access modes and provides Internet access, voice, and video services.
