Best service--Each country we have a representative whom can speak your native language; professional inspection during producing also before loading ;keep 5 --10 samples each container in case of any quality distinguish.

Good quality--Our quality is all depend on your requirement. We are maybe not the best quality among whole China ,but we can supply the best quality up to your requirement.

Propylene oxide, also known as propylene oxide and methyl epoxide, is a very important raw material for organic compounds. It is the third largest propylene derivative that is second only to polypropylene and acrylonitrile. Propylene oxide is a colorless ether flavour liquid, low boiling point and flammable. Chirality, industrial products are generally two racemic mixtures of enantiomers. Mixed with water, mixed with ethanol and ether. A two azeotropic mixture was formed with pentane, pentene, cyclopentane, cyclopentene and dichloromethane. Toxic, irritating to mucous membrane and skin, it can damage cornea and conjunctiva, causing respiratory pain, skin burns and swelling, and even tissue necrosis.

Preparation

1. propylene, chlorine and water are added at atmospheric pressure and 60 C to produce chloropropanol, which is treated by calcium hydroxide, condensed and distilled to obtain propylene oxide.

The oxidation of 2. ethylbenzene, isobutane or isopropane produces organic peroxides such as ethylbenzene, tert butyl hydroperoxide or isopropyl benzene, and then the epoxidation of propylene with propylene under the catalysis of molybdenum naphthenate to produce propylene oxide.

application

A KOH/4A zeolite solid catalyst with high activity and stability was developed for the first time in the synthesis of two methyl carbonate from propylene oxide, carbon dioxide and methanol. The influence of the reaction temperature and the load of the active component of the catalyst KOH on the performance of the catalyst was investigated. Under the optimized experimental conditions, the epoxy propane could be complete. The yield of two methyl carbonate was 168%. From the experimental results, two methyl carbonate was derived from propylene oxide and carbon dioxide to produce propylene carbonate and then transesterification with methanol. The reaction of methanol to propylene oxide and carbon dioxide in propylene oxide and carbon dioxide was promoted.

Propylene oxide is mainly used in the production of polyether polyols, propylene glycol and various nonionic surfactants. Polyether polyols are important raw materials for the production of polyurethane foam, thermal insulation materials, elastomers, adhesives and coatings. All kinds of nonionic surfactants are in the fields of petroleum, chemical, pesticide, textile, and daily chemical industry. It has been widely used. At the same time, propylene oxide is also an important basic chemical raw material.
